A premiere Bermuda hair salon, Tangles needed a polished web presence in order to better showcase their creative hairstyling expertise within a local market.
A Paul Mitchell concept salon, Tangles needed updated web content to extoll their full range of services and expand their customer base in Bermuda. Looking to add flair and functionality to their current website, Tangles asked Yabsta Digital to refine their site architecture and punch up their copy for an enhanced online experience.
Yabsta Digital’s creative/UX team crafted a visually engaging layout, emphasizing both salon photography and product callouts. A rich, textured colour palette inspired by Tangles’ decor lends a modern feel and echoes the salon’s inviting atmosphere. A simple horizontal navbar complements the transitioning headlines and Paul Mitchell product callout on the homepage. A crisp sans-serif font draws attention to the refreshed copy; the colour, drawn from the header, both contrasts and complements the background.
Tangles’ website is mobile optimized and fully responsive. Our skilled web developers utilized Bootstrap to accomplish this, incorporating layout and mobile menu customizations. Fully content managed, the CSS was built using LESS, with cross-browser continuity achieved via jQuery and JavaScript. Most notably, our development team implemented functions that both monitor browser size and change the size of the CSS accordingly, displaying menu types according to device model.
