The Cayman Carnival committee needed a refreshing, modern design to captivate people all over the island, to promote the carnival, provide vital information about all the events and to encourage people to come along and watch the parade.
Batabano is the biggest carnival in Cayman, having been around for over 20 years and attracting thousands of people to the event. Yabsta are very proud to be working with them, attracting many people to their website and showcasing what Yabsta can do to promote their carnival, through a wonderfully designed site.
They needed a fun, energetic and vibrant site to reflect their carnival spirit and to attract people. We created a vertical scroll design and deployed a countdown clock at the top of the homepage for the days remaining until the carnival, which created excitement and enthusiasm. The carnival organisers needed to show all the details, including who their sponsors were and details of all the events leading up to the carnival, as well as the carnival itself. These were highlighted throughout the site.
Big, large and bold images stand out in front of you as you scroll down this innovative and creative site, the vertical menu bar on the right allows you to go straight to the page you want, and all events are displayed clearly, allowing an incredible user friendly experience.
Clean, contemporary, engaging, fully responsive, and in true Cayman carnival spirit, this website reflects it all!
